It is actually free advertising space in the Google space but you need to follow Google's rules. Your real-life business becomes visible on the internet and can be found in Google Search and on Google Maps. This allows you to gain extra customers every day. As long as you follow the numerous guidelines, Google won't suspend the profile. Your competitors would only love that. Start using your GBP right now!
How many are there ? Worldwide, there are less than 50 who have attained the Diamond level in the Google Program and I am one of them. In the Business Profile Community I help marketing agencies and businesses. We have weekly confidential meetings with international Google teams. In 2023, I started attending the world summits where we meet with different teams and where Google shares insights. These summits are on invitation-only basis.

I also have specific software that allows me to see how Google views your GBP. And also your competitors' GBP 😉.
I have a Level 10 Google Local Guide account which is the highest level one can reach in the Google world.
Being a member of Google's Local Guide Connect group , they rank me in the top 25 of most successful photographers worldwide. My images have been viewed by potential customers 900+ million times. Google trusts my account and this may have an impact on your GBP. First, based on my activity, the algorithms seem to prefer images that are published with my account and, indirectly, your GBP may benefit from this hard-earned trust. Secondly, we know that images on the GBP help people make decisions. On average, each of my images has currently been viewed over 45.500 times. How come ? I am a professional trained photographer from the famous photography schools in Paris Efet and Arles in France. Tell me if you are interested in my imagery. 📷
I regularly follow courses provided by Google and other experts in the social media field and got academic degrees in digital marketing. This means that I understand the Google ecosystem. Most of us use the Google search engine, don't we? Check out my blog for recent updates on the net.
Having a specific interest in art, I attended a special seminar on how Art Galleries and Museums should use social media for better communication and get more visitors. Award-winning social media specialists who currently work or have worked for the MET, MCA Chicago, Smithsonian, the Getty Museum, SFMOMA, the Rijksmuseum, El Prado, Übersee Museum and Tate Gallery shared world class, specialised knowledge and insights. Soon, I'll launch a plan for sharing this gained knowledge with art galleries & museums.
When people are better equipped with knowledge of how things work, they can make better decisions.
